Those who are concerned about asymptomatic infection of COVID-19　新型コロナウイルスの無症状感染の不安を抱えている方へ

(1) Residents of Matsudo, (2) residents outside the city who work at an educational or childcare facility, etc. in Matsudo, or (3) residents outside the city who work at a nursing care or welfare service facility for the disabled, etc. in Matsudo, who have no symptoms of the Novel Coronavirus infection and have undergone PCR testing at their own expense at a medical institution.
※The city may contact your employer to confirm your eligibility for the subsidy if you qualify for (2) or (3).

Applications are accepted starting Thursday, April 1, 2021, until further notice.※Applications may close if the total number of applications reaches budgetary constraints.

Max. 20,000 yen per person, per test. Up to 2 tests per month.
After paying for the test at a medical institution, the applicant must apply to the city for a reimbursement. Please apply approximately within 2 weeks after taking the test.

1. Take a PCR test at a medical institution and pay for it yourself. You need to make a reservation yourself with the medical institution (inside/outside of the city) that performs PCR tests, and take the test.
2. Get an application form

3. Mail-in or submit the application

5. Matsudo City notifies you of your results (The subsidy will be deposited if you pass the screening)

Pregnant women who have no symptoms of infection such as fever and whose due date is generally within 2 weeks can receive a test for COVID-19, if they wish. ※Chiba Prefecture will cover up to 20,000 yen for the test.

A portion of the cost of a taxi ride to a medical institution for a checkup, etc. is subsidized. Taxi rides between October 1, 2020 and March 31, 2021 are applicable. Up to 3,000yen per ride, 30 times maximum.
