The "Matsudo Autumn Festa" will be held for three consecutive days at Nishiguchi Park to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Matsudo City!
Let's come together to enjoy the autumn season, Austrian Nouveau "Heuriger" wine along with good food from the food stalls, and fine music while interacting with people in the community!

The Matsudo Craft Beer & Hashigo-zake (or "barhopping") Festival is being held for the first time in collaboration with shopping district associations and businesses and the local government. It's an opportunity to try craft beers associated with Chiba Prefecture all at once! With a rare local beer in hand, enjoy a stroll through the shops around Matsudo Station.

The Tora-san Summit 2023 will be held in Shibamata, Katsushika, as an opportunity to introduce, protect, and nurture the "beautiful scenery and unchanged humanity of each area" that were the filming locations for the movie "Otoko wa Tsurai yo".
This year, 22 cities from all over Japan will participate, and booths from 17 of them will be gathered in Shibamata. Please enjoy the traditional scenery, culture and performing arts cherished by each region, as well as local specialties, souvenirs and gourmet foods.

映画『男はつらいよ』のロケ地となった「各地域の美しい風景や変わらない人情」を葛飾柴又から発信し、これを大切に守り、育んでいく機会として寅さんサミット2023を開催いたします。

今年は、全国から22地域が参加し、その中から17地域のブースが柴又に集結します。各地が大切にしている原風景や文化芸能、そして、各地の特産品やお土産、グルメをどうぞお楽しみください。

Matsudo NIGIWAI Festa will be held for the second time after last year. On the day of the festival, stage events, food, drink, merchandise, and workshop stalls will be held in five public places including parks around Matsudo Station.
The street between Kite Mite Matsudo and Matsudo Station West Plaza will be closed to vehicles, and a stamp rally will be held at the same time.
Let's enjoy a 'bustling' day in Matsudo together!

The Matsudo Art Picnic began in 2017 as an art festival to create diverse cultural values through contemporary art in the rich natural environment of the "21st Century Forest and Plaza. Along with the lush environment of the park, the festival aims to create a place where people can enjoy artworks, discover new ways of interacting with nature, and create opportunities for wide-ranging exchanges that transcend generations and languages, as well as diverse mutual understandings.
Please join us as you would a picnic, taking in the colors, shapes, light, texture, sound and wind with all your senses, and enjoy this fascinating nature from a different perspective than usual.

Matsudo Fan Festa 2023 in Terrace Mall Matsudo is an exchange event between athletes and artists associated with Matsudo City and its citizens.
The event will feature powerful stage performances and talk shows by performers from a variety of genres, as well as a variety of events for children to enjoy.

Matsudo-based world-class BMX pro riders Moto Sasaki and Yuu Shoji will give an exciting stage performance, sign autographs, and invite children (under 12) to try BMX.

Yui Susaki, a 50kg gold medalist in women's wrestling at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and a native of Matsudo City who has just been selected to represent Japan at next year's Paris Olympics, will appear on her first talk show in Matsudo.

The traditional festival representing Matsudo City will be held for the first time in four years under the theme of "Children and Industrial Promotion"!

A large area of the Matsudo Station East and West Exit areas will be closed to vehicles, and streets, pedestrian decks, parks, the Citizen's Theater, and even the underground garage will be filled with events.

• Date: Saturday, October 7th & Sunday, October 8th 2023
  11AM to 5PM
  (Cancelled when stormy weather)
• Venue: East & West side of Matsudo Station area
  Chuo Koen Park, Citizen's Theater, KITE MITE MATSUDO, West Exit underground parking lot, etc.
• Access: All vehicles including buses and taxis will be prohibited near Matsudo station

Brass band parades, cheerleading performance, chldren's workshops, classic car exhibition, samba group performance, and sale of Matsudo specialties, etc.

Come and enjoy the arrival of fall at the flower festival in the cosmos field, which was grown in cooperation with flower volunteers, the Junior Chamber of Commerce, local town councils, civic groups, nursery schools, kindergartens, and community members. To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the establishment of Matsudo City and the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Union of Matsudo Tourist Pear Orchard Associations, we will hold a Thanksgiving Festival full of pears.
To tell everyone in Matsudo, "Thank you for loving pears!"
In addition to enjoying delicious dishes, sweets, and beer specially developed by famous local eateries using pears, fresh and safe Matsudo agricultural products will also be on sale.

Please also visit the exhibition of exchanges between Matsudo City and the Dominican Republic, which was brought together with pears, as well as the display of pear pictures drawn by children from a Matsudo kindergarten.
