“XP24 - Experience Street Culture” will take place on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at the Matsudo Velodrome parking lot.
“XP” is a free outdoor event designed to showcase the fun of street culture.
There will be performances by professional athletes and artists, hands-on activities for kids, and yummy food stalls for everyone! Come and join us!

Skateboarding / 3 on 3 basket ball / BMX / Strider Bikes / Graffiti Art / Live music

The Matsudo Music Festival is an event where you can experience Matsudo, the town of music!
　Throughout the Forest and Park for the 21st Century, at Mori no Hall 21, the Museum, and the Mori no Kogei Kan, a variety of music-related events and workshops await you.
　At the main venue, “Mori no Hall 21 (Hall for the Forest 21),” visitors can experience music by exploring not only the large and small halls, but also the rehearsal rooms, Japanese-style tatami rooms, and various other areas of the building.
　Please enjoy this special day of “Music - through your eyes, ears, and heart!”.

Matsudo's pride and joy will be brought to life around Matsudo Station with restaurants, merchandise, performance groups, and more.
On top of that, the Matsudo Craft Beer & Hashigo-zake (or "barhopping") Festival will also be held the same weekend!

Whether you are a newcomer to Matsudo or a longtime resident, you may find something new to love about Matsudo.

• Fee: No entry fees (Charges for food & drinks, etc.)

Aiming to realize "an international and creative future city that combines science, art, and nature," Science Art Festival will host special exhibitions, lectures, and workshops by the world's leading research institutions, researchers, and artists in the beautiful natural setting of Tojo Hill and the rest of Matsudo City.
We hope that your experience at the Science Art Festival will inspire you in your daily life and contribute to the further development of society and a prosperous future.

The Matsudo International Cultural Festival, an event to enjoy experiences, exhibitions, workshops, gourmet food, and concerts that introduce the cultures of various countries, will be held for the 29th time.
No registration or admission fee is required, so please feel free to stop by!

Musical performances by artists from different parts of the world, exhibitions about international exchange organizations in the city, workshops, food and drinks.

The historic festival representing Matsudo City will be held again this year!
Let's celebrate Matsudo City's population milestone of 500,000 and make it a fun and exciting event together!

• Access: All vehicles including buses and taxis will be prohibited near Matsudo station
  Please refer to the pamphlet for the vehicle exclusion zone and the temporary bus and taxi stops.

Come and enjoy the arrival of fall at the flower festival in the cosmos field, which was grown in cooperation with flower volunteers, the Junior Chamber of Commerce, local town councils, civic groups, nursery schools, kindergartens, and community members. There will be plenty for the whole family to enjoy, so come on out!

• Venue: Edogawa Liverbed (Kogasaki & Kami-katsushika Bridge area)
  → Access to the Edogawa Flower Line Festival (Japanese)
• Fee, etc.: Free admission, no prior entry registration required
• Parking: Car & bicycle parking available

Petting zoo, disaster prevention experience car, picture-story show, firefighter uniform experience, police "white bike" display, drone piloting experience, kitchen cars, food stalls, farm products market, stage performances (music band, balloon art, dog agility performance, and Taiko drum performance), etc.Please find the details on the flyer

Matsudo Fan Festa 2024 in Terrace Mall Matsudo, a very popular event will be held again this year. Fan Festa is an exchange event between athletes and artists associated with Matsudo City and its citizens.
It features powerful stage performances and talk shows by performers from a variety of genres, as well as a variety of events for children to enjoy.
We look forward to seeing you at the Matsudo Fun Festa.

• Matsudo City Firefighting Band

The Matsudo Nepal Cultural Festival 2024, the first Nepal-themed event in the prefecture organized by the NPO, Chiba Branch of the Non-Resident Nepalese Association (NRNA JAPAN CHIBA), will be held in Matsudo City.
Come to this event to enjoy the atmosphere of Nepal with sales of food and goods, introduction of culture, arts and tourist attractions, and performances of folk instruments and folk dances, all while in Matsudo!

• Venue: Matsudo Chuo Kouen (Iwase 487-1, Matsudo City)

A variety of kitchen cars and vendors from Matsudo and nearby areas will be gathered!
