松戸市の国際窓口 Global Encounters

The Matsudo International Exchange Association (MIEA) was established to promote mutual understanding and friendship through providing opportunities for international exchange between Matsudo citizens and people from all over the world. Grass-roots international exchanges are a great contributor to global peace.

The PARADISE AIR artist-in-residence program is inspired by Matsudo's history as a former inn-town, where travelling artists would exchange a performance or piece of artwork for a night of accommodation ('One Night One Art').

PARADISE AIR invites foreign artists to stay in their facilities in Central Matsudo and to participate in short and long stay residency programs. This enables the artists to interact with the local people and to create unique works inspired by the Matsudo local community.

松戸市の歴史、文化、その他の特性を生かした国際交流活動を行うことにより、市民レベルの相互理解と友好親善を深め、もって普遍的な国際平和に寄与することを目的としています。詳しくは、(公財）松戸市国際交流協会のHPをご覧ください。

PARADISE AIRは、松戸宿の歴史と伝統を引き継ぐ「一宿一芸」をコンセプトに、国内外の芸術家を松戸に招待し、住民との交流を通して、松戸でしか出来ない作品の制作をしてもらうプログラムです。新たな切り口の外部の視点を通じて、まちの可能性を広げていくプログラムでもあります。「ロングステイ・プログラム」(長期滞在）と「ショートステイ・プログラム」(短期滞在）の2つの滞在プログラムがあります。
